ABOUT
ME

After completing my Masters in Editing at RITCS in 2023, I decided to transition from a student freelancer to a full-time freelancer.

In the course of 3 years I edited several award winning short films and co-edited a feature, learned all the technical ins and outs of editing and everything surrounding it and got to work with seasoned film editors as an assistant. I go to know some of the fun people behind the scenes of television and fiction in Flanders which ultimately brought me to Carousel Postproduction where I am now full time active as a junior editor.

WHY EDITING?

From the moment I could speak, all I did was ask why things were the way they were. This often led to very annoying car rides on holidays, but it was clear evidence of my curiosity. It's something I still carry with me today and, hopefully in a less annoying way, bring to my conversations with directors and colleagues. I enjoy finding meaning and intent in the films I edit, discussing it with the director and translating it to the screen.
