La Marelle, 2022
La Marelle, or Hopscotch, is a short documentary by Laura De Baudringhien. The film explores the lives of neighbors in Brussels who didn’t really know each other before but were brought together by Laura to think and talk with one another. It has not only been an interesting social experiment but has also brought people closer together.
The film premiered at the International Short Film Festival Leuven 2022, where it won the Jury Award for Best Debut in the Flemish Competition Documentary. It has subsequently been screened in Athens (Greece), Brussels (Belgium), and Pune (India).
My role in this project was editing the film and, later on, creating the trailer below.
