La Marelle, 2022

“La Marelle”or “Hopscotch” is a short documentary by Laura De Baudringhien. This is a film about neighbours in Brussels who did not really know each other before and have been brought together by Laura to think and talk with one another. It  has not only been an interesting social experiment, but it has also brought people closer together.

The film premiered at the International Short Film Festival Leuven 2022 where it won the Jury Award for the Best Debut of the Flemish Competition Documentary. It has subsequently played in Athens (Greece), in Brussels (Belgium) and in Pune (India).

My share in this project has been the editing of the film and later on also the making of the trailer below.
